A new “Jamaroo Kids Music & Movement” class will be starting next Tuesday in Terra Linda. The 27th annual ‘Marin Farm Day’ will be taking place this Thursday 24th at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael. The theme this year is “Bridging Farm to City”, and will bring together Northern Californian ranchers, farmers, producers and educators to engage children about farm animals and the sources of some of their food.
Participating children and parents will have the opportunity to see a variety of live animals close up including sheep, cows, goats, rabbits and poultry. Children can learn about the farm animals and the importance of agriculture and farming in Marin through a variety of hands-on interactive activities and games.
